2. Flowers first appeared about 130 million years ago!

The oldest flower ever was unearthed in Spain in the year, 2015.

The first flower appeared on Earth during the Cretaceous period but it is believed that the first flowers EVER appeared around 250 to 140 million years ago.

3. Montsechia was the first flower to be discovered!
